You have the Unlimited Plus plan (an older plan) and you are quoting text from the newer Unlimited Plus ENHANCED which is not the plan you have. Credit cards, checking and Debit Cards qualify for the credit. Single line plans will receive a $10 credit per month, multi-line plans receive a $20 credit per month. What they are telling you is correct for YOUR PLAN.īoth AT&T Unlimited Choice Enhanced and Plus Enhanced plans qualify for the AutoPay and paperless billing credit. Very deceptive bait and switch practices on the part of AT&T!!!! But as you can see from my earlier post, the AT&T website clearly states "Credit cards, checking and Debit Cards qualify for the credit. " In every case, I am told that the AutoPay credit ONLY applies if you are using a DEBIT card and that it will NOT be retroactive.

In January, 2018, I changed to the AT&T Unlimited Plus plan for our 5 lines. I should have added more information to my original post. Very deceptive bait and switch practices on the part of AT&T!!!! But as you can see from my earlier post, the AT&T website clearly states " Credit cards, checking and Debit Cards qualify for the credit. " I've called on several occasions, talked to multiple AT&T reps, and have also used the Chat function. The AutoPay credit was still not applied. I just received the 3rd bill since making this change to my plan. I was also told that it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the credit to be applied but that it would be retroactive. (I've had AutoPay using a credit card since 2013) I was told at the AT&T store that I would still qualify for the AutoPay credit even though I was already enrolled. I was already enrolled in AutoPay using a credit card. AT&T doles out gift cards to new customers like they are candy, every day.I should have added more information to my original post. As a good, LONG-STANDING customer who regularly pays her over $200/month bill without issue, this needs to be resolved. At this point it is not about the money but about the principal. This is clearly a scam and unless it is resolved, I will be taking it as far as I can, through the BBB, and whatever other channels I can find. Additionally, there is NOTHING in the fine print of the original promotion about the promotion being invalid after 120 days. I NEVER received any email, mail or communication about redemption. I was out of the country and called just this morning, on 6/10, at which time i was told that it was past 120 and "sorry, there's nothing we can do." I spoke with a 'supervisor' by the name of Clara, who also told me, "sorry, can't help you." I sent an email to at the end of May, 2016 and was referred back to AT&T. I waited the appropriate time actually even a little longer because I wanted to make sure i was past the appropriate eligibility time of beng enrolled for 3 billing cycles, PLUS waiting at least 3-4 weeks past that.

I also signed up for auto-pay, in December of 2015.
